Driving relationships between Ontario’s new car dealers, consumers, and government

TADA’s purpose is to foster a positive image for new car dealers in Ontario and to provide information services to our members on government, manufacturer, and consumer issues. We speak to the public, media, and government on behalf of the retail new automotive industry, and we focus on legal, environmental, and consumer issues relating to vehicle sales in Ontario.

TADA serves over 1,000 new car and truck dealers across Ontario, representing all manufacturer brands and franchises. Every TADA dealer is a member in good standing with the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC), which is responsible for enforcing Ontario’s Motor Vehicle Dealers Act. TADA dealers are governed by a strict code of ethics.

New car dealers supporting our local communities

TADA members also lend support to a variety of community and charitable projects. Our members are extremely active in their communities, supporting many local charities and amateur sports teams. Collectively, TADA members have pledged a $2 million dollar donation to Ronald McDonald House Toronto to help build the TADA “Gift of Life Wing.”
